A FEW OF THE MOST RECENT ITEMS WE WANT...

THE BEATLES Let It Be (Incredibly rare original 1970 UK 12-track vinyl LP box set, housed in the fully laminated picture sleeve with red apple on the reverse, & including the exclusive 160-page softback photo book 'The Beatles Get Back', packed with colour / B&W photos & text from the film which was never sold separately, all held snuggly in a special 12" laminated slipcase box! PXS1)

#Top 500 Greatest Albums Of All Time

Tracklisting: The first thing that strikes you about this copy is just how NEW it looks. Everything crisp, square, sharp ... wonderful. The outer slipcase box, designed by John Kosh, is remarkably flimsy and legendary for getting - if not seriously mashed - quite creased. This example has a light crease across the bottom right corner, otherwise just a little gentle shelfwear is present. We have seen enough of these in the past to know when we have truly found one that deserves its price. The book 'The Beatles Get Back' - a reference to the original project title - still sits tightly inside & shows few signs of handling & is classed as near mint. The 2-part inner cardboard housing/tray is intact, with one tear to one corner, and small crease to one section of the tray only. The LP contained in the box is the original issue 12-track LP on the dark green Apple label with 2U/2U stampers. The fully laminated picture sleeve with the red apple logo on the back [a rarity in itself] is in fine condition with minimal wear & the vinyl is stunning Near Mint with few signs of ever having seen a turntable. Very hard to come by like this. All in all, this is a superb collector's example. 1. Two Of Us 2. Dig A Pony 3. Across The Universe 4. I Me Mine 5. Dig It 6. Let It Be 7. Maggie Mae 8. I've Got A Feeling 9. One After 909 10. The Long And Winding Road 11. For You Blue 12. Get Back
THE BEATLES Revolver (Rare 1966 UK second issue 14-track mono vinyl LP, housed in the Garrod & Lofthouse front laminated flipback picture sleeve. A noted discrepancy is that the label is printed 'DOCTOR ROBERT', whereas the sleeve lists 'DR. ROBERT', as opposed to later pressings which credit 'DOCTOR' on both PMC7009)

#Top 500 Greatest Albums Of All Time

Tracklisting: 01. Taxman 02. Eleanor Rigby 03. I'm Only Sleeping 04. Love You To 05. Here, There And Everywhere 06. Yellow Submarine 07. She Said She Said 08. Good Day Sunshine 09. And Your Bird Can Sing 10. For No One 11. Dr. Robert 12. I Want To Tell You 13. Got To Get You Into My Life 14. Tomorrow Never Knows Labels: They are of the classic sixties black with yellow 'Parlophone' & logo design, all text in silver. The labels have "The Gramophone Co Ltd" perimeter text & "Sold In The UK" text across the centre of the label. The labels are in highly respectable condition with minimal wear around the spindle hole. The text is bright and clearly legible. The labels credit the composer BEFORE the lead vocalist, indicating second press vinyl. The sleeves were the same between first & third presses. Track 4, side 2 is spelt Doctor Robert. Vinyl: Matrix Number Side One XEX 605-2 Side Two XEX606-2 The vinyl shows a few surface scuffs & marks on both sides, more noitceably on Side 2, however thanks to the deep grooves & heavyweight vinyl, most of these blemishes are cosmetic in nature, but the odd click and a certain amount of surface noise may be heard from time to time. Sleeve: The Ernest J. Day front laminated flipback picture sleeve shows only light evidence of wear, with minimal discolouration, a solid VG grade copy of this rare stereo pressing at a seriously advantageous price!
