VASHTI BUNYAN Just Another Diamond Day (Ultra rare original 1970 UK 14-track vinyl LP, a beautiful pastoral folk album of originals by Vashti, almost lost to time but brought back to light in recent years. This album has attained cult status, not least for its contributions from the UK's late sixties rock royalty. Produced by the legendary Joe Boyd, Diamond also stars Incredible String Band's Robin Williamson & Fairport Convention's Dave Swarbrick & Simon Nicol, & string arrangements are courtesy of Robert Kirby, famed for his work with Nick Drake, matt gatefold picture sleeve. See 'more info' for condition...)

Tracklisting: 1 Just Another Diamond Day 2 Glow Worms 3 Lily Pond 4 Timothy Grub 5 Where I Like to Stand 6 Swallow Song 7 Window Over the Bay 8 Rose Hip November 9 Come Wind Come Rain 10 Hebridean Sun 11 Rainbow River 12 Trawlerman's Song 13 Jog Along Bess 14 Iris's Song for Us Condition : - This is a exquisite one owner example. The gatefold picture sleeve shows a little minor edge wear, as originals were never laminated. There is no writing anywhere. On deeper inspection there is the lightest scuff near the 'Copyright subsists...' paragraph, and the lightest of shelfwear to cover. We would grade this copy Excellent. The spine is clear and all text is clearly legible. The labels are shiny silver on black & in near mint condition. Both sides show almost no evidence of play by the spindle area. The matrices are machine stamped & end 1Y/2/ 2Y/1. The vinyl is incredibly clean, with minimal evidence of play. Due to the quiet and gentle nature of the performance and recording, some light surface noise is sometimes evident, but this is not intrusive in the slightest. The sound quality is gorgeous & testament to the quality of British vinyl at this point [you can throw your reissue away after you've heard this!]. All in all, this is a beautiful Excellent condition copy of a rare original first press. This is as close to perfection as it gets and comes highly recommended.
