9-track vinyl LP, their fourth studio album & first to star late
drummer Randy Castillo & the only to feature bassist Phil
Soussan, who wrote the album's US hit single Shot In the
Dark.Complete with the illustrated lyric inner. Despite the
start of a split to the tope edge, the glossy picture sleeve is
Excellent with just minor shelf wear. The vinyl is in Excellent
condition with the odd faint paper scuff not affecting play
EPC26404)
Tracklisting: 1. Lightning Strikes
2. Killer Of Giants
3. Thank God For The Bomb
4. Never
5. Shot In The Dark

 | THE BEATLES Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band
(Legendary 1967 UK mono LP, pressed on the black and
yellow Parlophone label, which OMITS the final track
'A Day In The Life' from the tracklisting on Side Two! The
stamper numbers are XEX638-1 & XEX637-1. Housed in the
original G&L fully laminated internal flipback picture sleeve
PMC7027) See 'More Info' for additional details on this elusive misprinted rarity...
Tracklisting: This superb LP is in great condition, especially for an album that is fifty-four years old!
The all important labels are clean and bright with clear silver print and striking yellow Parlophone text and pound sign logo, plus 'The Gramophone Co Ltd..' and 'Sold in the UK...' text across the centre of the label. The spindle hole area of the label is clean and undamaged although under close scrutiny there are several light marks indicating that this album has been played a handful of times.
The vinyl shows only minor evidence of play & would be graded EX.
As this rare mispress is technically a second 1967 pressing, the vinyl is housed in a flame inner (showing a small spilt to bottom) and does come complete with a set of mint, unused cut-outs.
The picture sleeve is excellent. The sleeve itself is manufactured by Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd and is fully laminated with internal flipbacks. The laminate has some lift and it shows some edge and corner wear with the colours deep and rich, flipbacks secure.
This is an lovely copy of this extremely rare variant & it's incredible that an album of such rarity could also be preserved in such good condition for over 54 years. This album would make an excellent investment item or be the centrepiece of even the biggest collection! |
 | JAPAN Obscure Alternatives (1978 UK first press 8-track LP

minor signs of its age & the vinyl looks barely played
AHALH8007)

3. Love Is Infectious
4. Sometimes I Feel So Low
5. Obscure Alternatives
6. Deviation
7. Suburban Berlin
8. The Tenant |
